He's 10! Can you believe it? My firstborn is 10! Crazy. He had a good birthday. We went to Subway for lunch, Chilis for dinner, and then had presents at home
Have you ever seen anyone get so excited about a pillowcase ? He got a body pilow w/ pillowcase, blanket, shelves, and some airbender toys from us, and he got some $$ and a Legogame from his grandparents.
He loves his new pillow. He's been wanting one for awhile.

Why do they make me choose?
Finally got around to getting Klaire's 1 year pictures today. (I normally call them 12 month, but that is sooooo not true in this case. She's almost 14 months. I'm a little behind.) Anyways, the lady did fantastice and made it almost next to impossible to choose. Oh, and in case you forgot, every child has done the biker dude picture at 12 month.

D.C.
The kids and I took Baba (my mom) to Virginia to see my brother. While we were there, we were able to take a small trip to DC! Love that place. I could stay there for a week, and never get tired.....DC that is...not my brother's! Ha!!!

Bass Pro SHop
Bass Pro Shop was doing a kid day or something where they were letting the kids come and use a bow, paintball gun, and air rifles. THis was totally cool fun for the Alma's!

Jungle Jim's
Jungle Jim's is a grocery store that has stuff from all over the world. It's pretty cool. Unfortunately we never get to go there. We hadn't been since Blake was a baby. It's just not close to us at all. However, this day, we were over in the area, so we stopped by. I really wanted the kids to see all the stuff, and the bathrooms just make you smile! Yes, I said, SMILE! the $5,000 bottle of hot sauce
Seriously, how many kinds of honey could there be?
Blake and his dark chocolate
Luke and his hot sauce. There were two full aisles of it!
And the famous bathrooms - ewwwww - port-a-potties! Sike! Those are just the doors to them. They're really nice inside. It was not easy to get the boys to go in though. The doors definitely fooled them.

IKEA
This was a while ago, but I had to post it still. During the first couple weeks of August, IKEA was having free kid's meals. Now, believe me, I'm always on the lookout for free stuff and cheap meals, so I was willing to give IKEA a chance. It was awesome because most places, it's only one meal per adult or maybe 2 per adult. But at IKEA there was no limit, and the adult didn't even have to purchase anything! Who-hoo!! Jackpot! I think we ate there 5 times that week. Some friends from church met up there a couple of time!
