Bow board

Got this idea from here. Loved it!! I think I'm gonna have to make another one cause the girls have more stuff to put on it. It's made out of art canvases. I think I only paid $3 for one. I already had one, and of course, being the scrapbooker that I am....I had all the paint ribbon already. So all in all it was a pretty cheap project.

Here it is filled up. We found about 10 more bows to put on after we took this picture.

I scrapbooked!

Shoot, I scrapbooked a real album for the first time in over a year. At least I think it's been a year. I had the idea of making an album for a friend of mine who is moving to California. I wanted her to have an album of our church family. I thought of this idea very late Wednesday night/Thursday morning, so I started working. I ordered the pictures at Costco, picked them up Friday, and finished the album on Sunday. AHHHH!!!! Her going away get-together was on Sunday night. I made a few blank pages for our church members to sign, and then placed them in the back. I forgot to take a picture of my very favorite page in the back of the book. Oh well. Here's a few of the pages. Maybe I'm getting my mojo back, and I'll finally get caught up on all my scrapbooking. Yeah, right, I'm only about 5 years behind!

new letters

I was feeling a little bad for the boys. While Klaire and Makenna's room is decorated beautifully, the boys' rooms aren't decorated too much. They do have paint on the walls and matching comforters, but that's about it. Now grant it, they've never complained, but I wanted to get some stuff on the walls for them. So of course, what do I turn to??? Altered letters. Soooooooo easy. Here's Jakeb's and Kaleb's along with some sports decals that I got at Target. I think the whole project with the decals cost about $32? Not too bad for decorations, huh? Oh, and you can't see it, but the decals go along the other wall, and we still have one sheet of decals left. I'm waiting until we get closet doors to do the rest. here they are before they got on the wall.
Here's on the wall!
